Saturday April 30, 2011
9am - 4pm

Held at 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center on the causeway in Spanish Fort.  The Expo highlights the amazing natural resources of the Mobile-Tensaw Delta and promotes responsible outdoor recreation.  Experienced outdoorsmen and educators will give hands-on demonstrations of skills such as fly tying and casting, canoe and kayak handling, turkey calling, camping, hiking, birding and wild life identification.  There will be retrieving dogs, archery, a virtual jet ski, black bears, gators, life marine animals, nature photography (bring your camera), food, music and half hour pontoon boat rides.  Dr. John C. Hall will bring to life the work of naturalist and explorer William Bartram.
