The annual event of the Weogufka Mule Day is something that you may want to put on your calendar to attend. Here you will see one of the biggest festivals in Alabama where there are mules, wagons, antique tractors, antique cars, music, food, vendors, arts and crafts. There are also special events each year to keep you coming back to see what they are going to do next!
The festival is put on by the Meogufka Mule Owners Club and is open to the public.
There are buggy rides that you can enjoy, you can pet a mule, watch the plowing done by the team of mules and sites for camping where you will be picked up for a day of fun at the festival. Kids love to ride in the covered wagon which will be something they will talk about for years to come.
If you have never ridden a mule this will be the chance to experience it. There are also Blacksmith demonstrations so you can see how the owners shoe and take care of the mules. Enjoy the music that fills the day under the old oak tree.
