Alabama Hwy. 14 (seven miles west of Marion at Folsom)

The Plantation comes alive the first weekend in October for Fall-n-Folsom. Visit the site of one of Alabama’s last active plantations, featuring structures dating back more than a century. Walk inside the general store, built in 1875, and step back into time with photographs and tools showing a family’s heritage for more than 190 years. Bring your family for a day of history, entertainment and excitement.

Join us for family fun activities which include: 

Historic tour of more than 28 buildings: cotton gin, log seed house, smoke house, weaving house, plus more 
Hayride and hay slide 
Corn maze 
Farm equipment museum 
Pumpkin patch 
Demonstrations of gristmill, blacksmith shop, basket weaving, quilting and more. 
Picture-perfect moments, both historic and new 
Holmestead beef burgers and drinks available for purchase
